SGPV and Grid Tie Inverter

SGPV – small solar grid tie inverter and solar panels . The inverter can obtain the solar energy from solar panel, and tie to the grid through its output cables with no extra equipment. The installation is very convenient and reliable.

When the sun shines, the solar panels will produces DC voltage, and the grid tie inverter will change the DC voltage to AC voltage and puts out power to the home grid. The electric apparatus in the house will use power from the inverter first .

How to choose the inverter :

1. About input voltage :

the 45-90V model inverter will start up at 49.5V, after starting, the inverter can work in 45V-90V.

Vmp 50v-90v Solar panels in parallel suggested ; for Vmp 25V-45v solar panels , we suggest 2 panels in series , the total voltage will be 50V-90V , then connect 4 or more groups in parallel . for example : 2 pcs 200-260w (Vmp 31v ) connected in series , 4 groups in parallel . .

2. About the limiter function

The Limiter function has been built-in . But, there is not limiter sensor/clamp with this product . The function is turned off .

If customer want to use limiter function , please order limiter sensor/clamp in the future , or order a limiter model inverter ..

How to use the grid tie inverter ?

1 unit inverter installation / more units inverters in parallel . the inverter AC output can be connected in the AC plug of grid in the house .

LCD display and operation

Bat or solar limited current mode:

This function is usable while using with battery.the setted voltage will be the cut off voltage, this means while battery discharged to the setted voltage point or below setted point, inverter will auto disconnect from the battery and stop operating.This can prevent the battery from over discharged.The setted current means inverter will discharge the battery at this current level. MPPT function of the inverter will auto invalid when working under this setting.Set is 0.1V/step.

Reboot voltage:This setting voltage means while battery charged back, the inverter will auto restart after voltage reached the setting point.It convenient the user and make the function very flexible.Set is 0.1V/Step.

Limiter Model function:

Note : Limiter model must use limiter sensor/clamp , there is not limiter sensor and clamp with this model inverter .

If the Solar Panel is producing less power and the GTI cannot deliver all the power needed by the load, then powe will be supplemented by the Grid.

Power Meters (Except smart meter) are not aware of the direction of Power flow. The user then pays for the power exported and delivered by the Grid.
